Introducing Sharpsburg Chiropractor Dr. Matthew Davis
I remember when my first chiropractor sat me down and explained how the nervous system was the master controller of the body and is in charge of healing and regulation. He continued to explain how if you have problems with the nervous system you then have problems with healing and regulating. I was amazed at the body's ability to heal itself!
After graduating from Miami Palmetto High School, Dr. Davis moved to Atlanta, Georgia to begin his undergraduate studies at Life University. He continued at Life to pursue a bachelor degree in nutrition and a doctorate degree in chiropractic. During his eight years at Life, courses included nutrition, biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques, and patient care in the Life University Public Clinics. One of his most enjoyable experiences at the school clinic included working with the HIV research program and seeing first hand the power of chiropractic care and improved immune system function.

Crossroads Chiropractic has become known throughout the southern crescent of Atlanta for its work with children and families. Thirty percent of Crossroads Chiropractic’s patients are less than 18 years old with health complaints ranging from colic to scoliosis. Since most geriatric consequences are a result of pediatric problems, Dr. Davis and his staff have been trained to serve children of all ages and disabilities. At our office parents will find out what the cause of their child’s condition may be, how long it will take to correct it, and what the parents can do to help their child get well quickly.
Dr. Davis and his girlfriend, Jennifer, along with their dogs, Sasha and Beau, have been proud to call Sharpsburg their home for the last year. Dr. Davis was proud to host Sharpsburg’s 1st Annual Kids Day America/International (KDI), an international event for kids health, safety and environmental awareness. It was such a huge success in May 2008 that he has already started planning for 2009.
Dr. Davis was privileged to be chosen as the KDI host and coordinator for Sharpsburg. Dr. Davis expressed “I was so proud and honored; only one Doctor from each area is chosen to represent their town in this international event for children’s health, safety and environmental awareness.”
Dr. Davis could not have been more proud when over 1200 people attended and hundreds of children got very important information. The best part is everyone had so much fun. But Dr. Davis could not have done this alone; the entire community rallied behind him and created unwavering support for this event. Many local business members and town dignitaries where behind Dr. Davis 100%. Thousands of dollars were raised for McNeil Family Foundation and Coweta Safe Program.
Finally, Dr. Davis would like to thank everyone who has chosen Crossroads Chiropractic as your office of choice. He would encourage anyone who would like to learn more about Crossroads Chiropractic to call the office or listen to him at one of his regular seminars or radio appearances. He has a regular radio show “Half Hour to your Health” every other Wednesday night at 9 PM on 92.5 The Bear. For those of you that live out of town you can stream this show on 925thebear.com.
